Lavon Belka

LaVon was born on April 24, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah and passed away December 25, 2017, at the age of 90, of natural causes, in her home. LaVon loved doing crafts and enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. She was a loving, strong example and the great inspiration that shaped our lives.
The family would like to offer their deep gratitude to LaVon’s granddaughter, Jayleen, for her devotion and compassion in caring for her Grandma.
She is survived by 6 children; Wayne (Diana), Linda collins, Larey, Brent (Janis), Janeen (Kevin) Dellinger, Kevin (Tracy), 24 grandkids, 28 great-grandkids and 13 great-great grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Belka, both parents, two grandsons and one granddaughter.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 30th at 11:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 S Redwood Rd., West Jordan, Utah, with viewings Friday evening between 6-8PM and again one hour prior to services on Saturday. Interment will be at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
