Laura Viola Michaelis Lowe

Laura Viola Michaelis Lowe, 82, passed away surrounded by loved ones on January 14, 2019 in West Jordan, UT. She was born on September 19, 1936 to August and Viola Michaelis. Attended and graduated from Olympus High School in 1955. Married Max Lowe in 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Laura loved people and spending time with family, her children and her grandchildren. She faithfully served in many church callings, had a great concern for others and enjoyed serving them. She loved gardening and took great pride in her gardens. Laura was a devoted mother and grandmother, she loved doting on her children and grandchildren. All who knew her will miss her sweet smile and loving spirit.
She is survived by children Sherri (Randy), Kathy (Jim), Laurie, Michael (Annette), Kristi (Dave), Todd (Shana), Derek (Erika), thirteen grandchildren; Jared (Elizabeth), Kendra, JC, Mason, Dillon, Kira, Carter, Everett, Chase, Ian, Braxton, Annika, and Christian. Also by siblings Darlene (Craig), Alan (Leslie), Lois (Ken), and Mary (Richard). She was preceded in death by her husband Max.
A viewing will be held on January 20, 2019 from 6 – 8 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT. Funeral services will be held on January 22, 2019 at Westland 2nd Ward, 7171 South 2700 West, West Jordan, UT, at 11:30 AM with a viewing from 10:30 – 11:00 AM. Interment at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
