Laura Ann (Ferguson) Lee, 59, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 2, 2019 at her home in Firestone, Colorado.
Laura was born May 10, 1960, in American Fork, Utah, to Wayne and Jeannine Ferguson.
She will be remembered for her love of baseball and BYU football; her devotion to family and friends; her unrelenting work ethic; an infectious laugh; and sometimes unwanted but always helpful honesty. Always an amazing mother, she had the uncanny ability to unconditionally love, listen, console and ultimately brighten the day. Always an independent spirit, she embraced challenge and forged her own path.
Laura is survived by her mother (Jeannine Hunt Ferguson); her children Alexander Lee and Jacob Wayne Lee, daughter-in-law Meghan Lee and three grandchildren; four siblings (David Ferguson, Lisa (Bob) Watteyne, Leslie Crawford, Amy (Douglas) Hoyt, and Michelle (Michah) Montgomery); and, many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Wayne B. Ferguson.
A viewing will be held Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 12, 2019 at 11:00 am, with a one hour prior viewing, at the LDS chapel at 981 E Revere Circle, in Salt Lake City.
