Larry A. Daly, age 79, passed away quietly on March 11, 2018. Born on April 29, 1938 in Great Falls, Montana, he was the devoted son of Frank Henry Daly and Mary Ellen Stewart. His dedicated service to his mother in her later years was a hallmark of his caring nature.
He graduated from Minot High School and attended Minot State College. He served overseas in the Army from 1961-1964 as a combat photographer for the 69th Signal Co. in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He worked many years in production for KMOT-TV in Montana, KUTV and Tele Scene in Utah.
He loved to laugh, enjoyed riding motorcycles and being creative. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and encouraging creativity in others. No one left his home without being “wowed” by his spectacular light shows and decorations.
He is survived by his sister, Beverly Estheimer, best friend, Gary Harward, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert “Bob” Daly, and sister, Deon “Leasy” Sherwood.
He will be interred at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
