Larene Whittle Christensen-Wilcock

LaRene Whittle Christensen-Wilcock age 84 died on August 29, 2022 in Kaysville, Utah. She was born on April 26, 1938 in Oakley, Idaho to Elden and Elsie (Peters) Whittle. She married Richard Christensen on May 12, 1962. After Richard’s death, she married Gary Wilcock on August 14, 2009.
LaRene attened Utah State University, University of Utah, and Stevens Henegar Business College. She worked for Immigration and Naturalization from 1980-1983 and the Federal Courts from 1983-2001.
She served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in England. She loved to travel and visited: Africa, Guatemala, Israel, Spain, France, Denmark Germany, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, and Fiji.
Surviving LaRene are her children: Kelli (Carl) Blanton of Joplin, Missouri; Valori (Alan) Layton of Erda, Utah; and Brian Christensen of Kaysville, Utah; and her grandchildren: Joshua Christensen, Hannah Layton, and Nathaniel Christensen. She was preceded in death by her parents Elden and Elsie Whittle; sister, LaRue Burch, and her husbands, Richard Christensen and Gary Wilcock.
Funeral services will be held on at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 855 East Mutton Hollow Road, Kaysville, Utah. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Interment will follow the service in the Memorial Mountain View Cemetery, 3115 East Bengal Boulevard, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
