Laniece Hansen Webb

Our beautiful Wife, Mother, and Grandmother passed away peacefully on December 24, 2018. Laniece was born on June 7, 1947 to Alma and Berneice Hansen. She graduated from American Fork High School in 1965. After briefly attending the College of Southern Utah, she met the love of her life. She married Jerrold F. Webb in the Salt Lake Temple on August 25, 1969. They have 5 children, to which she devoted her life. Laniece and Jerrold have been married for 49 years.
Laniece spent the majority of her life passionately serving her family as a homemaker and Mother. She loved being outdoors and enjoyed long drives into the mountains, especially during the fall season. Her favorite vacations were camping in the Uintah Mountains, where she loved to sit around the campfire with her family. She was an avid sports fan which included cheering on her children in their many sporting activities. For many years, she regularly attended BYU football games and enjoyed watching the Utah Jazz. Sewing was her greatest passion-she spent many, many hours sewing clothing and items for her family, costumes for church road shows and dance recitals. Her musical talents include playing the piano and she learned to play the accordion. Her hobbies also include gardening, arranging flowers, making wood crafts, and looking at new homes. She was talented at canning food, and made the best raspberry jam. Laniece served faithfully in many LDS church positions, and truly lived a life of putting others’ needs before her own. Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with all of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Jerrold, children: Stephanie, Dustin (MaryJo), Shannon (David), Sydnee (Bradley), and Dallas; grandchildren: Aubrey (Connor), Jamie, Cami, Nathan, Brooklyn, Ashlyn, McKaylee, Brynlie, Saydie, and Kyson; brothers: Gary (Judy), Lloyd (Rebecca), and Kal. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alma and Berneice; and brothers: Harrold, Harvey, and Gene.
Funeral Services will be held Monday December 31, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Crescent South Stake Center, 251 E. 10600 S. Sandy UT. A Viewing will be held prior to the funeral services at 10 am, and also on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 6-8 pm at the same location.
