Lana Arlene Troyer

Our Beautiful Mother, Lana Arlene Troyer passed away on May 27, 2024 at the age of 77 in West Jordan, Utah.  She was born on June 14, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Howard and Margaret Arvilla Turnbow.  Lana married Joseph Troyer in 2005 and had ten wonderful years together.   

Lana loved animals, reading books, shopping, and old movies.  She shared her home with the feral cats and loved them all, everyone of them had a name.   

Lana is survived by her son Michael (Paula) Bassett; daughters Rebecca (Hal) Crew, Cindy (Dutch) Cassity, Wendy (Dan) Fletcher; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, all whom she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph; daughter Lori; father Howard; mother Arvilla; brothers Jimmy, Danny; sisters Linda and Sherry. 

The family would like to thank Serenity Hospice and her loving nurse, Allyson, who compassionately cared for her.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.  You may visit with the family at a viewing prior to services from 12:00 to 1:45 PM.

Interment following services at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
