Ladean Morton

Our dear, sweet, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother passed away peacefully at her home in Murray, Utah surrounded by her loving family. Mom was the noble daughter of Levi and Fern Draper. She was born in Provo, Utah. Her siblings are Ray, Jilleen and Frank.
She married Francis Alton Morton and they remained sweethearts for 63 years. They have resided in Murray, Utah for the past 57 years.
Mom was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served faithfully in every calling she was asked to do. She loved being Relief Society President, Primary President, and teaching Gospel Doctrine. She was a valiant visiting teacher for many years.
She leaves behind her loving husband, four children, Steven Morton (Sherma), Mary Hansen (Steve), Frances Nieuwland (Michael), Sandra Wood (Todd), nine grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 on Saturday, May 5th at the Murray LDS 16th Ward chapel on 619 West 5750 South in Murray, Utah. Viewing will be held prior to the services from 11:30-12:30.
Interment will be at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery on 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah.
