L. Dale (Bud) Hudson

May 24, 1926 — February 15, 2016

Dale “Bud” Hudson passed away February 15, 2016, peacefully with his wife, Betty, holding his hand.
Dale Hudson was born May 24, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah to L.D Hudson and Alverda Turner Hudson. He served in the US Navy in World War II. After being honorably discharged he met and married the love of his life Betty Jensen, whom he later referred to as Boop. They were married June 26, 1948.
Bud was a hardworking man and he taught his children to be the same.  He retired from the US post Office and owned a repair shop, Granger Cycle and Mower.  He kept his yard and large garden in immaculate condition.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, fishing, hunting, golfing, camping and snowmobiling.  Bud and Betty had many fun times together; they would load up the camper and just go.
He worked alongside with his dad building Silver Fork Lodge, up Big Cottonwood Canyon and Millcreek Inn, in Millcreek Canyon.  He was always so positive and happy and admired by us all.
Bud is survived by his wife Betty, sons Rob and Kyle (Denise), Daughter Kelly, grandchildren, Chris (Annette), Ryan, Heather, Lance (Sara) and Jessica, and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Dayle Lyn and son Rick.
A special thanks to Danville support services for the care of our parents.  A very special thanks to Robert Valencia for his part in their care.
