Klazina Van De Merwe

Klazina VandeMerwe, age 87, passed away October 25, 2015 in Salt Lake City, UT. Born October 18, 1928 in Sint~Annaland, Netherlands to Cornelis and Pieternella Willemina Van Vossen. Married Stefanus “Steve” VandeMerwe on April 6, 1957 in Salt Lake City, UT. Klazina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She had a passion for music and could always be heard singing. Klazina enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing with her husband and family. Klazina was preceded in death by her husband Steve in July, 2015 after 58 years of marriage. She is survived by her daughters Corrie Cummock and Alice Oakeson, one granddaughter, three grandsons, and two great grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will be held Friday October 30, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Holladay Memorial Park Cemetery, 4900 South Memory Lane, Holladay.
