Kimberlee Ann Willette passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, December 16th, 2024, in West Jordan, Utah, at the age of 54. She was born on July 13th, 1970, to Shirley Hobbs and Dennis Willette in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Kimberlee earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and her Master's degree from Western Governors University. Known affectionately as "the cat lady" by her friends and co-workers, Kimberlee had a deep love for animals and was known for her infectious laugh.
She began her career with the State of Utah in December 1997. Over her 27 years in state government, Kimberlee shared her incredible skills in various financial roles within the Department of Administrative Services, the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget, the Department of Workforce Services, and the Department of Cultural and Community Engagement, where she was currently serving as an Assistant Finance Director. Kimberlee was dedicated to her work and always willing to do anything to help her colleagues.
Kimberlee's dedication and expertise were highly valued by her colleagues, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Loveridge; her sister, Michelle Willette Feichter; her brother-in-law, Jonathan Feichter; her niece, Madison Feichter and her husband, Daniel Rodriguez Maysonet; her nephew, Mason Feichter; and her three beloved cats, John, Jake, and Alex.
There will be no memorial services.
