Kevin Dylan Johnson, age 30, of Salt Lake City, UT, passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully in his sleep on October 20, 2024. Born on July 12, 1994, to Susan Fox and Kevin W. Johnson, Dylan was raised in West Valley City and Kamas, UT.
Dylan has accomplished many things throughout his life, yet his greatest joy has been building his family with his girlfriend Alysha. He cherished his role as a father, dedicating all his free time to his two beloved children, Walker Rae Johnson and Anaya Rae Johnson, and his loyal best friend, Colt, an eight-year-old border collie. An outdoors enthusiast, Dylan found joy in nature, spending time with family and friends, and surrounding himself with animals. His love for animals began early, joining 4H, showing cattle at local fairs, and caring for livestock on the family farm.
Dylan’s compassionate spirit lives on through his children, Walker and Anaya, and his girlfriend, Alysha. He is survived by his parents, Susan Fox and Kevin Johnson (Lawana); his siblings, Heather Lindhardt (Billy), Daniel Fox (Echo), Chyanne Frampton (Tristen), Russel Fox, Derek Fox, and Billy Johnson; his grandparents, Blaine and Kaye Poulsen, Linda Johnson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He joins in peace his grandparents, Bill and Carol Johnson, and his Aunt Lisa Poulsen.
To honor Dylan’s memory, a viewing will be held at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT, on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to help cover funeral expenses. Donations can be given to his father Kevin Johnson or to his mother Susan Fox in person or by Venmo @Susan-Fox-109 or @Kevin-Johnson-1477. Any contributions beyond the funeral costs will be placed in a trust fund for Dylan's children.
May Dylan’s memory live on through the love and joy he brought to those around him.
