Kerry Adair-Graves

March 15, 1952 — November 21, 2016

Our sweet Kerry Lynne Adair-Graves passed away November 21, 2016 after a very long, hard battle with cancer. She was born March 15, 1952 in Pioche, NV. to Merrill and Lily Knight Adair. She married the love of her life, Lynn Graves in 1975. Kerry was the most loving, caring, compassionate, big hearted soul to everyone who had the grace of meeting her. She put everyone first before herself no matter what. She loved to read, speed walk, cross stitch and toole paint. She had quite the Obsession with The Beatles.
She is survived by her husband Lynn Graves, daughter Brandee (Matt aka Platt) Hudson, father Merrill Adair and stepmother Marlene Adair, brother Craig (Shauna) Adair and several nieces, nephews, step brothers and sisters whom she loved all very much. Preceded in death by her mother Lily Knight Adair in 1984.
Kerry was someone who always had a smile on her face and such a memorable and contagious laugh that will never be forgotten. She literally had the biggest heart. No one could ask for a better wife, mother, daughter, friend or mentor. She was truly an amazing fighter, beating breast cancer for 19 years before it returned as terminal bone cancer.
We never saw her angry, or crying, or talking negative or complaining. She would never intentionally hurt a soul. She never wanted any of us to know she was in pain. Anytime someone would ask her what her pain level was, she would always say it was a 2.
When God was ready to take her home we know her mother Lily was there to guide the way.
Soar with the eagles beatiful angel. We love you to the moon… and back again.
Kerry’s started each day reading her favorite quote;  “You’re an original, an individual, a masterpiece. Celebrate that; don’t let your uniqueness make you shy. Don’t be someone other than the wonder that you are. Every star is important in the sky.” Douglas Pagels
