Kenward Dean “Ken” Seegmiller, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend returned to his Heavenly Father on June 18th, 2024, in Midvale, Utah. He was born May 8th, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Earl Kenward Seegmiller and Varine Felt Seegmiller. He was the oldest of three children. Ken graduated from Box Elder High School in 1958. Afterwards he served a Southern California mission with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1960-1962. He went on to Utah State University where he met his sweetheart, Beverly Ann Ellingson. They were married on June 22nd, 1964, in the Salt Lake Temple.

Ken graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1966 and later a Master’s of Recreational Education from Brigham Young University. He began teaching seminary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1966 at Bingham High School. He briefly taught at institutes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. After retirement, Ken and his beloved wife, Beverly, fulfilled a mission together to the California Oakland/San Francisco Mission in 2009.

Ken and Beverly were blessed with 5 wonderful children. He loved his family very much, and he also loved participating in outdoor activities like camping, fishing, and golfing. It was a bonus if he was with his family. He also enjoyed watching football, specifically BYU football games. He loved to make everyone laugh, whether it be making funny faces, telling jokes, or playing pranks. He kept his humor up until the end of his life. He will be deeply missed by all.
