Kent Schlehuber beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather died at the age of 64 on July 24, 2021. Kent was born on February 25, 1957 to Elden & Jean Renee Evans Schlehuber in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was the youngest child joining his sisters Terra and Tonja. They then moved to Bountiful, Utah.
He married the love of his life, Elaine DeVoge on April 10, 1982. They moved to Farmington, where they have lived since. Together they welcomed two strong, handsome sons, Brock and Braeden.
He loved visiting his grandparents in Malad, Idaho and spent hours playing with his many cousins. He grew up loving sports. He excelled in baseball and was a member of the 1975 State Championship Baseball Team and graduated from Viewmont High School.
He spent years coaching and teaching baseball and football in his Farmington community and was president of Farmington Area Baseball League. He was a Scout Leader for many years and worked at Rocky Mountain Power for 40 years.
He loved hunting with his father, grandfather and his sons. He belonged to some men’s association and played golf as often as he could.
One of his greatest enjoyments was spending time with family and friends at their cabin in Idaho. One of his pleasures was performing wedding ceremonies.
Kent was the most generous, loving, bighearted man you could meet.
Kent is survived by his wife, Elaine, sons, Brock and Braeden, grandsons, Braxton and Woods.
Preceded in death by his parents Elden and Renee.
There will be a Celebration of Kent’s Life announced at a later date.
