Kenra Sue Martinez

Kenra Sue Martinez passed away at the age of 61 on June 20, 2021 at her home in West Jordan, Utah. She was born on November 15, 1959 in Murray, Utah. Kenra met and married her soulmate 47 years ago. Together the two built a beautiful life and family. She loved traveling, especially to Vegas with her mother and step-father. She always insisted on driving, she had to be the captain of the road trips. She enjoyed movies and the drive-ins with her popcorn. Thanksgiving was her holiday, she loved preparing dinner and gathering for the meal.
They loved to be with family enjoying camping trips, barbeques, family dinners, birthdays, and holidays. She valued time spent with everyone but especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They can tell you story after story about all of the memories with her. She left an impression on each one of their hearts in different ways. Family was truly the most important thing to her. Her smile, hugs, her big blue eyes, the “I Love Yous” and “You Are My Sunshines” will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ernie, her daughters Tonya (George) Sanchez, Kimberly Martinez, and Robyn Martinez, 14 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren – with one on the way, and her siblings.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. Interment to follow at the same location.
