Ken was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was an active, fun person through and through. Generous, kind, friendly and a little mischievous too! He had the most entertaining stories about the pranks he pulled and the good times he experienced as a child. He loved inventing and tinkering in the garage and was a devoted family man. He married his highschool sweetheart, Carol Darlene Newson, on December 29, 1950 and spent the rest of his life making memories with her and raising their beautiful and loyal daughter Karen, then later being the greatest grandpa to his grandkids Ian and Alexis. He worked as an accomplished Journeyman Electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers wiring many of our iconic buildings all over Northern Utah. This year he celebrated 50 years with I.B.E.W. He had so many great stories about those times too! He took great pride in serving our nation in the Army National Guard from December 14, 1950 until his Honorable Discharge on December 14, 1956 in the Artillery division. Ever generous and ever kind he made such a positive difference in so many lives. Ken lived his life by the philosophy that we are here to be good to each other during the time we have on this Earth, and he certainly was more than good to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
Survived By: His loving wife of 70 years, Carol. Wonderful daughter Karen. Loving Grandchildren Ian (Caroline) and Alexis. Great Grandchildren Isaiah, Korinne, Isys, Edgar and Zackary.
