Kenneth Paul Spencer

March 2, 1928 — August 15, 2020

Our father, grandfather and husband passed away peacefully due to the effects of dementia at the age of 92. He was the 6th of 7 children born to Walter Francis Spencer and Mathilda Julia Rohrbach. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters (Grace Margaret Stevens, Adele Mathilda Stevens, stillborn baby, Margaret Rohrbach Mackay and Jeanette Vadnis), brother (Ernest Walter Spencer) and granddaughter (April Ann Moyer). What a happy reunion he is experiencing in the spirit world! He is survived by his loving wife and companion Luelma, children Mark (Janet), Guy (Jody), Paul, Todd (Geralynn) Ann Kitchen (Dave), Joan Moyer (Craig), John (Julie), Scott and 28 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. Dad married mom in the Salt Lake Temple on Sep. 3, 1954. Dad spent his life in service to others in his profession as a school teacher and in his home and private life. He was a true believer in Jesus Christ and lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dad’s life of service included 2 years in the US Navy, a 2 ½ year church mission to the Swiss-Austrian mission and three other church missions with Luelma to Scotland, Germany and Ohio. He also served in many other church callings and served for over 20 years as a temple worker. Dad enjoyed gardening, gospel study and being with family. We love our dad, grandpa, husband and will miss him. We know that we will see and be with him again.
