Kenneth Eugene Keirce, a cherished soul who brought light into the lives of those who knew him, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024, at the age of 55. Born on October 29, 1968, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Kenneth was known for his love and extensive knowledge of Rock and Roll history, as well as an insightful understanding of celebrity deaths. His unique perspective on the world around him was a testament to his remarkable intellect and a reflection of his captivating personality.
Kenneth's life journey was shaped by his experiences as an Autistic individual, which endowed him with strengths that were truly his own. He had an ever-curious mind that found joy in the melodies and stories behind the music he adored. Kenneth's passion not only enriched his own life but also created connections with others, allowing him to share his knowledge and insights with those who were fortunate enough to engage with him.
His family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the many caregivers who provided support and compassion throughout Kenneth’s life; they became an extended family who made a profound difference in his daily existence. Kenneth’s bond with them filled his life with care, empathy, and friendship.
He is survived by his loving siblings, Sandra Vanhorn, Kendra Keirce, Richard Keirce, and Sheree Myers, who will always remember him for his humor, warmth, and unwavering spirit. Their shared memories of laughter, joy, and togetherness will forever remain imprinted in their hearts.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Eugene Keirce, mother, Melva Veby Keirce Stewart, grandfather, Frank Keirce, and grandmother, Gladys Keirce, all of whom will be welcoming him with open arms as they reunite in a place of eternal peace.
In honor of Kenneth’s life and legacy, a graveside service will be held on April 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery in West Jordan, Utah. This gathering will celebrate the unique journey of a remarkable person who meant so much to many, giving family and friends an opportunity to reflect on the joy and love he brought into their lives.
Kenneth Eugene Keirce may have departed from this world, but the imprint of his existence will echo in the hearts of those who knew him, preserving his legacy of love and passion for music and life.
