Kenneth Daybell

September 29, 1933 — January 27, 2021

Kenneth Miles Daybell, age 87, returned home on January 27th, 2021. He was born on September 29th, 1933 in Provo, Utah to Myrle Peterson and LaVar Miles Daybell. He married Shirlene Daybell on November 19, 1999 and they were later sealed in the Jordan River temple.
Ken was a hard worker and loved to do home remodels and repairs. He was a devoted husband and wonderful caregiver to Shirlene over the years. All the grandkids enjoyed spending time with him and he loved having them around. Ken loved to travel and being in the outdoors. Ken and Shirlene served a service mission in Draper, Utah, teaching the gospel through teaching English. He absolutely loved working in the temple and reading his scriptures, which he continued to read as long as his sight allowed.
He is survived by his wife; Shirlene Daybell, his children; Randy (Nancy) Daybell, Marty (Cindy) Daybell, Dixie Daybell, ShirLynn (Rob) Rawson, Roxann (Mark) Weaver, Brad (Valerie) Holt, siblings; JoAnn Jensen and Dorothy (Dennis) Tuckett, 25 grandkids, and 57 great-grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son; LaVar Daybell, siblings; Ronald Daybell, Richard Daybell, Barbara Conover, and Doug Daybell, granddaughter; Kelly Hone, and great-granddaughter; Karly Hone.
Funeral services for Ken will be held Monday, February 1st, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Murray Mortuary located at 5850 South 900 East, Murray, UT. A viewing will be held one hour prior from 1:00-2:00 PM at the same location. Interment will follow services at Larkin Sunset Gardens located at 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT.
