Keith Earl Bowman
1937-2015

Born February 11, 1937, Keith E. Bowman passed away on October 4, 2015 with family by his side. His imprint on this world is large and he will be missed by many. To his family he was kind, loving and generous; often sacrificing himself for the care of others. Keith served proudly in the United States Army from 1954-1976 and fought valiantly in the Vietnam War. He retired after 22 years of service as a Sergeant First Class, where he received several medals. He then went on to serve as a Special Police Officer for the Federal Government. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Blanche Bowman; wife of 32 years, Marrianne Bowman; son, Tony Bowman and countless fellow veterans. Survived by his children, Karen Pickard, Bob Bowman, Candace McMurrin, Keith L. Bowman; grand-children, Dustin Bowman, Jesse Pickard (Sarah), Kelly Pickard, Danielle Bowman, Mason Bowman, Michael Raiford, Sabrina Diehl, and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at the Mountain View Memorial Cemetery, (3115 E. 7800 S., Cottonwood Heights) on Saturday, October 10th at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, you are asked to thank a veteran for their services and make a donation to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
