Keith Allen Harmes

Keith Allen Harmes, age 87, passed away on February 14, 2020 at Summit Senior Living in Kearns, Utah. He was born on April 3, 1932 in Black River Falls, Wisconsin to Gordon and Martha Harmes. He married Diana Hathaway on June 27, 1975.
He enjoyed motorcycle racing, snow skiing, snowmobiling, sky diving, hunting, fishing, camping, scuba diving, water skiing and boating. He had his pilot’s license. He was an MP in the Air Force, he was also in the National Guard. He loved to travel. He was an avid reader and enjoyed his time at the public library.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Harmes; his children, Gordon Harmes, Michael Harmes, Nicholas Harmes, and Roxanne (Eric) Jardine; his grandchildren, Mason Jardine, Kaleb Jardine, Wyatt Jardine, Jade Jardine, and Devon Harmes; his sister, Sandra (John) Gavaldon; and brother David (Sherry) Harmes.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Harmes and Martha Graham; his first wife Virginia Harmes; his brothers, Ken Harmes, Tom Harmes; grandchildren Ashton Harmes and Parker Harmes; and his nephew William Menefee.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Bennion 5th Ward 6030 Kamas Drive, Taylorsville, Utah 84129. A friends and family gathering will be held prior beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at a later date at the Utah Veteran’s Cemetery.
