Kay Samuelson

Kay Samuelson, age 77, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in SLC, UT to Everett and Helen Fredrickson. She married Emil James Samuelson Jr. (Jim) on June 1, 1956. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 27, 1962. Kay was always an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved and lived the gospel and served in many callings. She loved spending time with her family at Bear Lake. She loved to crochet, travel and spend her time serving others. Preceded in death by: parents, 1 sister, and 1 brother. She was survived by the love of her life, Jim. Children: Tom (Pam), Jon (Michelle), Kevin, Lecia (Randy), Emily (Stephen), Todd (Debbie), 27 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the South Jordan Highland Stake Center, 10200 South 4000 West at 11:00 am. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 6 pm-7:30 pm at Memorial Estates. 6500 South Redwood Road and on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the chapel from 9:30-10:30 am. Her interment will be at Memorial Estates 6500 South Redwood Road.
