Kay Leroy Flynn

Kay died at the age of 85, on May 28, 2024. He was born on September 24, 1938, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Joseph Patrick Flynn and Mary Viola Williams. He married Evelyn Fowles, in 1958 and then later divorced in 1985. 

He was the eighth child out of ten children. He has been reunited his son, John J. Flynn, his parents Joseph and Mary Flynn, his brothers; Dick, Dean, Thomas, Loyal Flynn, and his sisters Laraine and Belva. 

He is survived by his sisters: Carolyn Wyman, Janet Thompson, and Marla Muir. His children: Tamara Damereli, Susan Bell, James Flynn, Sean Flynn (Paige), and Carl Flynn. Grandchildren: Brandon Flynn (Mary), Chelsea Jewett (John), Micheal Bell (Deborah), Amber Bell, Mark Mortensen (Kim), Eleanor Taylor (Danna), Eric. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Kay will be laid to rest at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, Garden of Reverence, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, following the funeral service.
