Kathy Ernst

Kathy Jean Ernst (McDonald), our loving and loyal Sister, Mother, Aunt and Friend, has returned to our Heavenly Father and in the arms of her beloved parents, sister and brother’s who preceded her in death. Kathy passed quickly and peacefully on November 29, 2014 at Care Source center in Salt Lake from cancer. Kathy was kind, loving and accepting to all. Kathy especially loved children. As she would dote on her only daughter Jennifer it was known that there where many that she was a Mother to. Kathy on many occasions baby sat for ever child in the immediate and extended family . She was truly awesome! Kathy loved dearly her grandchildren Liam, Anna and Lucas. Kathy was an unwavering daughter to her parents… with a heart of gold, a smile that would light up the room and the warmth of a fire softly burning on a cold night. She also loved Christmas time and enjoyed the joy of the season with her family. She will forever be in our hearts. Kathy was proud to be a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints. She was born on February 22, 1954. Kathy is survived by her daughter Jennifer Augason, son in-law Mark Augason Also survived are her Brother’s David, Roger and Bruce McDonald, Sister’s Diane Smith. Preceded by death are her parents Julius and Irene McDonald, sister Julene and Brothers Brent and Mark. All who knew her, will deeply miss her and we will embrace and cherish her memory all of our lives. Kathy may you rest in peace. Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah with a viewing prior to services from 9:45 to 10:45 am. Interment will follow at the Murray City Cemetery, 5490 So. Vine St. (700 East).
