Kathryn “Kathy”Lambson

April 6, 1964 — June 3, 2016

Kathryn/Kathy/Kate Lambson, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, teacher, and friend, passed away June 3, 2016 following many years of illness.
Kathy was born April 6, 1964, in Salt Lake City to Fount and LaVee (Kitty) Roberts Lambson. She grew up in Kearns, where she participated in Girl Scouts and the American Legion Junior Auxiliary. She graduated from Kearns High, where she sang with the Madrigals, and was a delegate to Girls’ State. She later served as a Girls’ State counselor.
Kathy graduated from USU with a degree in special education. She taught school in Jordan, Washington and Alpine school districts and worked for the state providing individual services to disabled children.
Kathy was very creative. She loved to sing, dance, and write music, and had many other creative talents.
Kathy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served a mission to the Ohio Columbus Mission. She served in many callings, primarily in the Young Women program.
Kathy is survived by her siblings, Ken (Sally) Lambson, Dianne (Dave) Raisor, and Geri (Dave) Turley, 11 nieces nephews, and many grandnieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, and niece Laura.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, June 11th at the Kearns 4th Ward Building, 4232 W 5015 S, in Kearns. Friends may call from 10:30-11:30am the day of the service and from 6-8pm on Friday June 10th at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S Redwood Road.
The family would like to thank special friends Lynn and Myra, and the Kearns 4th Ward, for their loving service to Kathy.
