Kathlyn Duffield

Kathlyn Thompson Duffield passed away July 26, 2014 in Murray, Utah. She was born August 11, 1930 in Smithfield, Utah to Otto William Thompson & Margaret Alice Pilkington Thompson. She married W. F. Duffield August 12, 1949 Salt in Lake City, Utah.
Kathlyn was an avid cleaner. Cleanliness around the house never stopped. Everything was cleaned every day. She wanted her house to be in showcase condition always. She never stopped worrying about even the smallest things that were happening to her family.
She is survived by her husband, W. F. Duffield, children, Craig (Barbara) Duffield, Margo Duffield, Sherrie Smith and Gregory (Kreighan) Duffield. Grandchildren, Mercedes Duffield, Carrera (Josh) Hermansen, Remington Duffield, Braunson Duffield and Terry Duffield. Great-grandchildren, Braxton, Jaxson and Maddox Hermansen. Sisters, Blanche (Blair) Read, Bonnie Hansen and Beth Mears.
She was preceded in death by her father & mother, sisters Barbara Mears, Margaret Woodward, and a brother Carol William Thompson.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Mountain View Memorial Mortuary, 3115 E. 7800 S. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services.
