Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend, Katherine Dugger passed away February 8, 2019 at the age of 92 surrounded by her loving family.
Katherine was born October 27, 1926 in Heber City, Utah to Nymphas and Emily Murdock.
Katherine and Melvin raised their 5 children in Kearns, Utah. Katherine loved the lord and her family. The love she had for the 5 generations in her family and spending time with her great-great grandchildren could be seen by everyone through her stories, smile and laughter. Once you met Katherine she loved you and you would love her. Her love was unconditional to everyone in her life. Katherine was ready to be with her greatest loves, the lord and her husband Melvin.
Katherine loved spending hours in her garden and spending time with her church family.
A special message from her son Larry, “You are my huggie buggie and my number one mom. I miss you and love you very much”. Katherine always said what a blessing Larry was in her life.
Katherine, you will forever be loved and missed by all of your family and friends. We will all take care of Larry so you and dad can now just rest with the lord together. Our hearts are broken but we know that God needed another angel and now he has one.
Katherine is survived by her 5 children, Bruce (Charlene), Margaret (Steve), Steven, Susan (Leon) and Larry; grandchildren Nickie, John, Becky, and Dustin; her 7 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Memorial Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary 4670 South Highland Drive, Holladay, UT 84117. The viewing will be held from 8:30am to 9:30. The service will begin at 9:30am. You may also join the family at Memorial Redwood Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT 84123 proceeding the service.Service Information
