Karma Crystal-Kaylee Maestas

Karma entered heaven peacefully, as she was surrounded by her loved ones, in her West Valley home, following a long battle with OsteoSarcoma. Karma was filled with compassion, and a desire to raise awareness for this childhood disease. She left this world her loving heart of service, as she wishes for us all to see her passing as an opportunity to help others. In lieu of flowers, she requested that we make donations to her Go fund me account “Cruise for Karma”. Proceeds will be used to help the homeless and raise awareness for Childhood cancer. Karma’s life and legacy has made this world more blessed, as we all witnessed her ability to bring together the hearts of many within the community. Karma expressed, the hardest part of enduring this disease was seeing others in pain, as she rarely complained of her own. Even from heaven our beautiful Karma’s voice can be heard asking us all to be more kind and loving, and she reminds us to have a more charitable heart.
Karma Maestas was the loving daughter of Nick Maestas and Crystal McBride, adored sister to Breanna McBride, Neeko and Hope Maestas.
She was greeted in heaven with grandpas: Jim McBride and Robert Anthony; Grandmas: Vi McBride, Kathleen Maestas; and Uncle Michael Roberts. I know in my heart that Karma joined a few special angels: Jordan and Zack.
Celebration of life ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 10 am to 4 pm, please come and celebrate her, and partake in her last cruise, “Karma style” at: Luxe Auto Spa, 49 E. 3300 S., SLC, UT 84115.
Immediately following the Celebration will be “Karma’s last Cruise” to, Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 S Redwood Road, Taylorsville, UT 84123.
She has asked that we celebrate her life and enjoy it, so please no black attire. Come ready for a party and honor her sweet memory and final cruise.

Karma loves each and every one of you. She also left a special note for her friends at Hunter Elementary, “You were my rock, for my sword.”
