Karen Hutchinson Nielsen

Karen Jean Hutchinson Nielsen, age 76, of American Fork, Utah passed away on February 14, 2019. Her heart stopped beating in this life to continue beating with her eternal Valentine and reignite their love story on the other side. Karen was born in Salt Lake City to Everett and Audrey Hutchinson and is survived by her sisters, Marcia and Marylin, six children and their spouses, Brian, Scott, Trent, Ryan, Kristin and Anjuli, 24 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 grandsons’ in law.
Karen served as a faithful member of the LDS church throughout her life, found joy dancing as a child, loved playing games, was a devoted mother and gave so much of herself to provide for and take care of her family. She was attentive and loving, making her the best grandma, the BEST! She had a generous heart and her unconditional love and listening ear will be immensely missed.
Karen met her late husband on a blind date and were then married in the Salt Lake City Temple in 1965. Her family finds comfort knowing their love story continues as they celebrate their 54th anniversary walking hand-in-hand for all eternity.
