Kaidryn Langston

Kaidryn Beverly Langston passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on April 6, 2023.  Her immaculate spirit fit into a tiny 500-gram body at birth.  She spent her first 393 days at the NICU starting at University Hospital and ultimately Primary Children’s.  She defied all instruction and all medical influence, therefore putting into existence Kaidryn’s Law.  Kaidryn had many physical difficulties, but it didn’t stop her.  She learned to roll, crawl, pull to stand and most recently she would walk with mommy and daddy’s help.  Because of her trach she couldn’t make many sounds, but towards the end she could make small hums, her little voice could fill a room.  Kaidryn showed everyone love and joy!  There was never a happier girl- even at her most sick.  The family wishes to thank University Hospital, Primary Children’s Hospital and Eccles outpatient center, Intermountain Home Health, and the EMT’s of West Valley fire dept.  She had a village of doctors, specialists, primary nurses, therapists, case workers, and surgeons.  She was cared for and very loved by many.
Kaidryn is preceded in death by her grandpa Billy Fordham, grandpa Dennis Bishop, and her sweet cousin Carly Louise Taylor.
Kaidryn is survived by her parents Wesley and Holly Langston.  Her sisters Bostyn and Astyn and her brother Idrys.  She had many aunts and uncles, many cousins, her grandma Vickie, grandma Brown, grandpa Glen and grandma Beverly.

Funeral services will be held on Monday April 17, 2023 at 11:00 am at Mountain View Memorial 3115 E 7800 S. A viewing will start one hour prior to funeral services.   There will also be an evening viewing on Sunday April 16, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 pm, held at Jordan 1st Ward church, 4145 So 3920 W in West Valley.
