Kafea Nicholas Junior Lavulavu was born April 23, 1995, to Nanuma and Samuela Lavulavu. He resided in Lehi, Utah and passed due to natural causes on December 27, 2023. He was 28 years old. He played football for and graduated from Granger High School in 2013. He attended college majoring in Zoology with hopes to become a Veterinary one day. He held a long-term career at the United States Postal Service for over 9 years.
He was selfless, caring, and a natural caregiver. He loved to be with his family during his free time; always picking up his nieces and nephews to take them out and spend good fun quality time with them. He was the favorite uncle everyone wanted around. He was always present to help and be with family during times of need, never questioning anything; he always provided love and support to anyone when needed.
Preceded in death is his mother Nanuma Lavulavu (2007). He is survived by his father Samuela Lavulavu (Elenoa) currently residing in Tonga, sister Senita Siasau (Soane), brother Siosifa Lavulavu (Maheikau), brother Kafea Lavulavu (Leah), sister IllaiSaane Lavulavu, and sister Leaaepine Mataele (Moui); all his nieces and nephews: Viliami Takau, Orion Dominick, Tailasa Seneti, Nanuma Victoria, Samuela Royal Institute, Siosifa Alexander, Nicholas Lance, Elsa Celestial, Sione Fieilo, Tania IllaiSaane, Kafea Sungalu, Abigail Fiefia, Sisilia Paluvavau, Nanuma Lolohea, Christina Ariel, Laione Moui, and Senita June.
Special thank you to everyone who loved and cherished Junior and filled his life with joy. Thank you for your condolences and heartfelt comfort. May the Lord continue to bless and watch over each of us.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 AM on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Memorial Redwood Mortuary; 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. Interment; Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
