Justin Randall Malcolm

July 27, 1980 — March 17, 2019

Born July 27th, 1980, Justin sadly passed away on March 17th, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Son of Randy Malcolm and Debbie Gord.
He married Leah and had two sons, Trayton and Kyler, later divorced. He married Raylynn and had daughter Evelyn, later divorced.
Justin loved boating, fishing and spending summer days with family around the swimming pool. He could hit a golf ball like Happy Gilmore and do an eight ball break with his eyes closed. He enjoyed playing in the South Valley Pool League and loved playing sober softball. He was always the life of the party and made friends everywhere he went. He was a smooth talker and could have sold a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves. He most cherished his work selling and installing blinds at the family business. He may have looked tough but he was a giant tattooed teddy bear. Even when he was struggling, he always wanted to lift the spirits of others. He was one of the most genuine, kind hearted souls to have walked this earth.
He is survived by his children, Trayton (18), Kyler (16) and Evelyn (11), his mother Debbie (Cory), Sisters Cherelle Gilger (Shep), Courtney, Casey and Megan Gull, brother Jake Gilger, step-mom Lisa, Grandparents Bill and Lynette Gord and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by father Randy and grandparents Keith and Fern.
The viewing will be held on Friday March 22nd 2019 from 2-3 with funeral services to follow at 3:11 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates; 3115 E Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights.
If you or anyone you know is struggling with depression or addiction, please reach out. We wish Justin would have. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, afsp.org. Justin will be greatly missed and a part of us will always be with him in heaven.
