June Marie Sippy
June 3, 1927 — December 7, 2016
Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend passed away December 7, 2016. June was born on June 3, 1927 near Venango, PA.
She was daughter of Homer Lee Smith and Lena Lewis Smith.
June married Robert Aaron Sippy Jr. on October 12, 1946. In 1963, they were sealed for time and eternity in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple. They had three children, Rita Lee, Daniel Leroy and Julie Ann.
June worked at the Talon zipper plant in Meadville, PA for twenty eight years. They moved to Salt Lake City, UT in 1973 where she worked at Edo Western until retirement. She then attended SL Community College for two years always an enthusiastic student.
June was always learning or serving others the two activities she most treasured. She loved her home in North Ogden, a place she called a bit of heaven. She loved to work in nature. June treasured the time she was able to spend with her Granddaughter Nicole and great grandchildren Brody, Payton and Deklyn since they lived so close. She also enjoyed visits with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and had many great adventures with them.
Her love of doing laundry was a bit unusual and she would do laundry for anyone who would let her.
We’re sure there are countless family stories of her fiesty adventures which we all treasure.
She is survived by one brother- Frank L. Smith (Marlene) of Linesville, PA as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 16th, 2016 at 2:00pm with a family prayer at 1:00pm at Memorial Estates, Mountain View 3115 E. 7800 S. Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121Service Information
