June Hellstrom

Our sweet mom, June Hellstrom, passed away Nov. 28, 2017, at the age of 92. She was born April 29, 1925, in Salt Lake City, UT to Thomas and Ethel Davis. She was the youngest of 12 children. She married our dad, John Hellstrom Sr., on Jan. 25, 1943. He passed away on Oct. 20, 1988, and Mom was later sealed to him in the Jordan River Temple.
Mom was truly one of a kind. She lived her life with so much love and compassion. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her instantly fell in love with her. Her zest for life, fancy style, and contagious spirit was unforgettable.
Mom was a longtime member of Willow Creek Country Club where she enjoyed golfing, bowling, and socializing with her friends. She also loved being a successful Avon lady for 29 years and made many friends along the way. Many of our greatest memories with Mom were made during the time we spent together at our family cabin at Bear Lake.
Mom is survived by her four children and their spouses, Julie Ann Dille (Richard), John Hellstrom Jr. (Vickey), Jim Hellstrom (JoAnn), and Janeen Dwyer (Jack). She was a wonderful grandma to her 11 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter JusDean and her special friend of 18 years, Money Lasrich.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Holladay 26th Ward, 4601 South Chapel Drive, Holladay, UT. Friends may call Sunday evening, December 3, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Memorial Holladay~Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 S. Highland Drive, and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 S Memory Lane (1990 E), Holladay. Memories of June may be shared at www.memorialutah.com
