It is with heavy hearts that we announce that on Thursday the 7th of March 2019, Julius Walter Harris, loving husband and father of 4 passed away at the age of 68.
Julius was born December 13,1950 to John Henry and Janet Ruth (Kimmey) Harris. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1969 and served 6 years. After which he attended the University of Utah where he met his beloved wife Kathleen (Mansell). They were married the 1st of July 1975, and sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple the 23rd of September 1976.
Julius loved coaching sports and playing his guitar. His favorite music was the Beatles. He was also known for being compassionate and kind with an infectious smile.
Julius was preceded in death by his father John, his mother Janet, and his brother Bruce. He is survived by his wife Kathleen “Katie”, his four children, Mickey, Randy, Derrick (Feagaimaleata), Stephanie (Eric), his brother Charles, and eight grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, 11:30 AM, at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.Service Information
