Julio Cesar Rodriguez

Julio Cesar Rodríguez, aged 37, passed away February 23 at his home in West Valley City, UT. 

Julio was born on November 10, 1987 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Filiberto and Angelica Rodriguez. Together, they migrated to West Jordan, UT, where Julio was raised. In his early 20’s, Julio met his fiance and mother of his children, Cecilia Perez. Together they welcomed three beautiful children- Edahi, Emiliano, and Maia. They created a home for themselves in West Valley City, UT, up until his passing. 

Julio had a passion for exploring nature; whether that meant hiking, fishing, or bicycling. If he had a weekend free, you could rest assured you could find him out in nature. He also enjoyed traveling and exploring new places with his fiance and children. There wasn’t a place that they set their mind to visit that they wouldn’t go to. Julio was also known for his passion for cars and that’s truly where he left a mark. If anyone ever needed assistance with their cars, Julio was the go-to-guy. He always knew the issue and the solution. It was truly a talent. 

Julio is survived by his fiance, 3 children, his parents, his siblings (Nancy Rodriguez and Johnny Rodriguez), and many more loving family members and friends. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a catholic mass in his honor on March 3, 2025 @3 pm. Mass will be held at St. Joseph the Worker, located at 7405 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT, 84084. A viewing will follow from 6pm-8pm at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetary, located at 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84123.

Julio nació el 10 de noviembre de 1987 en Guanajuato, México, hijo de Filiberto y Angélica Rodríguez. Juntos, emigraron a West Jordan, UT, donde Julio se crió. A sus 20 años, Julio conoció a su prometida y madre de sus hijos, Cecilia Pérez. Juntos dieron la bienvenida a tres hermosos hijos: Edahi, Emiliano y Maia. Crearon un hogar para ellos mismos en West Valley City, UT, hasta su fallecimiento.

A Julio le apasionaba explorar la naturaleza, ya sea haciendo senderismo, pesca o andando en bicicleta. Si tenía un fin de semana libre, podía estar seguro de que lo encontraría en la naturaleza. También disfrutaba viajar y explorar nuevos lugares con su prometida y sus hijos. No había un lugar que se propusieran visitar al que no fueran. Julio también era conocido por su pasión por los autos y ahí es donde realmente dejó una huella. Si alguien alguna vez necesitaba ayuda con sus autos, Julio era la persona indicada. Siempre sabía cuál era el problema y la solución. Era realmente un talento.

A Julio le sobreviven su prometida, 3 hijos, sus padres, sus hermanos (Nancy Rodríguez y Johnny Rodríguez) y muchos otros familiares y amigos cariñosos.

Se invita a familiares y amigos a asistir a una misa católica en su honor el 3 de marzo de 2025 a las 3:00 p. m. La misa se llevará a cabo en St. Joseph the Worker, ubicado en 7405 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT, 84084. Luego habrá un velorio de 6:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetary, ubicado en 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84123
