Julieann Goodfellow, age 76, passed away on November 4, 2024, in West Valley City, Utah. Born on July 14, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Omro McIntosh and Lucia N. Lopez. She lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and dedication to those she loved.
Julieann graduated from Granite High School and pursued higher education at Salt Lake Community College, where she trained as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Later, her talents led her to work as a skilled seamstress. Julieann’s life was enriched by her many hobbies and passions. She loved singing and dancing and playing the guitar. She was known for her vibrant presence at family gatherings and parties. Julieann was a lover of old movies, camping adventures, and treasured family moments. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a joyful spirit, always sharing laughter with those around her. Above all, she cherished her time with her family.
Julieann is survived by her beloved son, Andy; her dear sisters, Lenda Asay (Enos) and Deana Opheikens (Ty); and her brother, Chris Solis. She leaves behind five grandchildren—Andrew, Jordanne, Tiffany, Jacob, and Tyler—as well as many nieces and nephews who adored her. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and her son, Teddy Manzanares.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery, located at 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. With a viewing prior from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
Julieann will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
