Julie Liljenquist, a beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and joy. Born with cerebral palsy, Julie never allowed her condition to define her or limit her vibrant spirit. Her life was a testament to independence and determination, inspiring everyone who knew her.
Julie is survived by her devoted husband, Terrell Liljenquist, who was her rock and constant companion. She is also survived by her brother Charles Cox (Terrie), her sisters Joyce Anderson (Rick) and Pamela Fordham (Gerry), her brother Jerry Cox, and numerous nieces and nephews who cherished their Aunt Julie.
She joins in heaven her parents, Marilyn and Jerry Cox, her grandparents, her sister Teresa Hungerford (Dennis), and her beloved aunts and uncles. Julie's passing leaves a void in the hearts of her family and friends, but her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.
Julie had a deep passion for reading, a love for babies, and an enthusiasm for watching NASCAR and the Utah Jazz. Her favorite NASCAR drivers were Dale Earnhardt Jr. and more recently, Alex Bowman. One of her most cherished memories was attending the Daytona 500 in Florida with her sister Pam Cox and traveling to Nevada with her brother Dick and his wife Terrie to watch the race. Meeting Dale Earnhardt Jr. in Vegas and riding around the NASCAR track in a minivan were highlights of her life, bringing her immense joy and excitement.
Julie loved country music, her favorite artist was Keith Urban. She also had a special fondness for Coca-Cola, often seen enjoying her favorite beverage with a smile. Her love for life, her strength in the face of challenges, and her ability to find joy in the simplest pleasures will always be remembered.
Julie Liljenquist was loved by so many, and her presence brightened the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
