Julie Hennefer Everett

May 28, 1970 — November 15, 2017

Our sweet Julie left us November 15, 2017 at the tender age of 47. She fought cancer valiantly and cheerfully to the very end. Those visiting Julie to bring comfort and cheer often left feeling uplifted by her. Her last days were spent with family and friends, smiling and laughing until passing quietly holding the hand of her dedicated husband Randy. She leaves behind four beautiful children Faith, Tess, Brandon (Maegan), Skylar (Alyssa), and grandson Jaxton, devoted parents Ken and Janice Hennefer, siblings Kenny (Sanna), Scott (Mindi), Matt (Cindy), doting father-in-law Wayne Everett, sister-in-law Wendy Wheeler (John). Nieces Kenna Jean Rieske (Mathias), Sanna Marie Pederson (Bob), Josephine Moellmer (Robert), Jordan Belle, Shantel Egbert (Phil), Lexi Wheeler, Tori Wheeler. Nephews David Hennefer, Samuel Wheeler, Nicholas Wheeler, as well as aunts, uncles and countless friends. Julie is preceded in death by grandparents Kenneth M. and Ethel Hennefer and Alfred and Margaret Jordan, Aunt Ruth Ann Hennefer, and mother-in-law Diane Everett.
Julie was born May 28, 1970. She graduated from Brighton High School and attended the University of Utah. Julie and Randy were married September 17, 1991 and were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Julie had a deep love of the gospel. She loved life, her family, friends, and especially children. Family gatherings and playing games were her most passionate pastimes. She enjoyed good jokes and rock and roll music. Julie worked for First Security Bank, Sinclair Oil in their Legal Department, and later ran a daycare from her home. She served her church faithfully in both primary and scouting.
Special thanks to neighbors, ward members, family and friends for the love, support, service, meals, rides and kind deeds performed for Julie and her family. Additional thanks to Doctors Reichman, Colman, Allan and Dodd as well as the staff at both Intermountain Medical Center and Cascades at Riverwalk.
Heaven is a brighter place with Julie in it. We know she will make new and renew old friendships and be ready to share stories with us when we meet her again. May her love and happy spirit encourage us all to live better lives. God be with you till we meet again Julie!
