Grannie passed away Jan 31, 2014. She was born Aug 14, 1916 in Bradfordsville KY to Henry and Lena Bright. She married Roy Elmer Bobb Feb 10, 1939 in Winslow AZ, later solemnized in the St. George Temple. She had three children Luana (Pat) Shimmin, Ivan (Judee) Bobb and Daniel (Tomoko) Becker, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, but her progeny and extended family goes beyond any imaginable number and she loved and cared about all of them very much. Roy died in 1986. She married Cleon Wilcox Dec 11, 1990 claiming at his passing “that was a 7 year love affair.” She travelled extensively and made lifelong friendships wherever she went. She was an active member of the LDS Church and had a strong testimony of her Savior, which she shared with everyone! She served faithfully in many callings which included extensive temple work and 10 years at Welfare Square Dairy. She also served a mission in Snowflake AZ. She will truly be missed. She was also preceded in death by Luana, Ivan, Son-In-Law Pat Shimmin, grandson Jesse, stepdaughter Verna Kunz, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Survived by a brother, Parley (Marilyn) Bright. Funeral services will be held Wed. Feb 5, 2014 11:00 am in the LDS Meetinghouse located at 1899 W 7600 S in West Jordan UT, with a viewing one hour prior. There will also be a viewing Tues. evening Feb 4 from 6-8 at Deseret Mortuary 36 E 700 S in SLC, UT. Interment Farmington City Cemetery.
