Jewell “Judy” Alma Butler Burt Price was born in Foss, Oklahoma, the youngest of six, and raised in Dimmitt, Texas. She married Read Allen Burt in 1944 and had three children: Linda Carol ‘Bunny’ Brown, Lynn Allen ‘Corky’ Burt, both deceased, and Mary Jane ‘Twinkle’ Germain (David). After Read’s passing in 1960, Judy married Clenton Price in 1966, since deceased, and gained two step-sons, Brent (LuAnn) and Dennis.
Over her lifetime, Judy was a secretary for the Army Air Force, spa instructor, and had the honor of serving the LDS Church through two missions and hostessing at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and Temple Square. She was an avid camper, rock hound, and enjoyed traveling with friends and family.
