Our beautiful and beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, Judith Lynn Foreman, Manley, passed away July 2, 2018 surrounded by loved ones in West Jordan, Utah.
She was born April 16, 1954 to Willard and Shirley Foreman in Laurium, Michigan. She was the third of four children. She married Alan K. Manley on July 31, 1989 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada and was about to celebrate their 29th anniversary at the end of July. Judy was a cosmetologist when she took a position at Deseret Pharmaceutical/BD Medical and retired in 2015 with 30 years of service. Judy lived for her family, and adored her grandchildren, and would do anything for them. Judy and Alan got to travel, but the Hawaiian islands was Judy’s favorite place to vacation where she would explore and find sea glass, sea shells, star fish and watch the most beautiful sunsets. Judy always keep a beautiful home inside and out working countless hours for the perfect yard and clean home. Judy had a green thumb and could grow the most beautiful flower and vegetable garden with her prize Hydrangea’s. Judy was a consummate chef and enjoyed making new dishes for her family and friends. Judy had tireless energy despite of her failing health she wouldn’t and you couldn’t stop her. Judy was the sunshine of our life, her persistent smile and joyful goodwill touched all of us and she will be missed.
Together Judy and Alan raised six children Dawn Lynn Gehring, James Lynn (Julie), Becki Manley Ogden (Randy), Steven Manley (Monica), Kristine Manley Jeffers (Rich), and Kent Manley (Michelle). Judy was proud of her children, 16 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Foreman, brother Alan Foreman, sister-in-law Sharleen Foreman, father-in-law Kenneth B. Manley, grandson Dallin Mishler, granddaughter Aspen Ogden. She is survived by her husband Alan K. Manley, all of her children, 16 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, her father Willard Foreman, brother Glenn Foreman (Connie), sister Janice Dunstan (Robert), and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on July 9, 2018 at 6:00 PM at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary located at 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing prior to the funeral on the same date starting from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.Service Information
