Judy Beck Lewis

May 8, 1944 — July 29, 2017

Judy Beck Lewis returned to our Heavenly Father on July 29, 2017 in her home. She was born on May 8, 1944 in Payson, Utah to Margaret Robbins Beck and Lester Oscar Beck.
Judy grew up in Springville, Utah where she graduated from Springville High School. She also graduated from Snow College, and Utah State University.
She married Homer Scott Lewis in the Salt Lake Temple in 1970 and had six children. Her main focus in life was her family.  She loved making family dinners from scratch. Everyone loved her homemade spaghetti sauce. Judy was very creative and always loved to make things for her children. She had a great talent for crocheting, and gardening. She also enjoyed water aerobics and loved watching Korean dramas. In addition to being an amazing homemaker Judy worked as a librarian, substitute teacher, and did customer service for UTA for several years.
After she retired she worked at the Draper temple and served two missions with her husband. Their first mission was with the addiction recovery program and then they served in their stake reaching out to inactive members.  She was a great missionary because of her ability to love and accept all people. She also worked with the Spanish ward in her stake teaching people English.
Judy loved life, she was always positive and encouraging. She loved literature, spending time with friends and being with family. She lived to make everyone happy and will always be remembered for that.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Lester Beck; brother, Jay; and sister, Joan. She is survived by her husband Homer and their children Laura (Armando) Delgado, Don Carlos Lewis (Tiffany), Anthony Lee Lewis (Brandi), Margaret (Brian) McEwan, Jonathon Homer Lewis (Terumi), Anna (Nefi) Munoz, Tsuji Kyoko, and her brother, Jerry Beck. She and Homer have 23 grandchildren.
