Judith Littlefield Hunter

December 6, 1940 — April 26, 2019

Judy Hunter was born to Kenneth Littlefield and Wilberta “Billie” Hunter Accocks in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended school in Salt Lake City while working in her parents’ diner during her childhood.
In July of 1956, she married David Gene Taylor. This beautiful union gave the world four sons and one daughter; they later divorced. Judy later found lifelong love, marrying Deck Hunter in March of 1987; providing her with two step-daughters.
Judy received an Secretarial Certificate from Salt Lake Community College. She then began a temporary job for the Utah Air National Guard 299th Range Control Squadron. Working her way up the ladder, Judy spent 19 years before leaving for higher ranks at the Federal Aviation Administration where she finished out her career. All throughout her career, Judy was very well respected and held in the highest regard by all of her coworkers.
Judy lived with integrity, honesty and strong character. During her working careers, Judy dedicated her time to also be an Equal Opportunity Advocate. After retiring, she gave her time to crocheting hats, blankets, and other items, giving them to local charities. Judy also held elected positions on the Resident Council at both Cottonwood Creek and Sagewood Assisted Living Facilities.
She is preceded in death by both parents and both husbands. Judy is survived by her three brothers, Paul Littlefield (Cathe), Brent Littlefield (Marion), and Keith Littlefield. She is also survived by her five children, Dave Taylor (Blanca), Dean Taylor (Cindy), Danny Taylor, William Taylor (Teresa), and Dianne Reaves (Roger), as well as step-daughters Tauna Hunter (Michael) and Tina Hunter (Brenden). Her legacy continues to grow with numerous grand, great-grand, and great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to give special recognition to Riverton Hospital for caring for Judy in her final moments, Cottonwood Creek and Sagewood Assisted Living Facilities for facilitating many friendships and memories, and all of her family and friends who have loved her, carry on the lessons she gave, and uphold her outstanding character.
