Judith (“Judi”) Ann Sutter Brantley (76), passed away on August 3, 2024, in Orem, Utah.
Judi was born on December 29, 1947, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Betty Lou and Wallace C. Sutter. She was raised in Phoenix and graduated from Central High School in 1965. After high school, Judi pursued a career in court reporting. Then, in 1977, she moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, where she became an administrative assistant for Flagstaff public schools. While in Flagstaff, Judi attended Northern Arizona University and obtained a Bachelor of Social Work in 1993. Upon completion of her degree, she worked as a probation offer. She spent the last thirteen years of her life in Utah.
Judi is survived by: her brother, Bill Sutter of Phoenix, Arizona; her sisters, Lonna Lindsay of Phoenix, Arizona, Linda Klauser of California, and Debbie Burkett of Prescott, Arizona; her children, Derek Brantley (Patrick) of Boise, Idaho, Kim Martinez (Eli) of Draper, Utah, and Jason Brantley (Tasia) of Prescott, Arizona; her grandchildren, Shane Martinez, Alexander Brantley, Ashton Decker (Andrew), Andrea Brantley, Noah Martinez (Ashley), Timothey Brantley, Anthony Brantley, and Stephen Brantley; and her great-grandchild, Lorena Martinez.
A memorial service will be held in Judi’s honor at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Suncrest Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 14977 South Round Tree Lane, Draper, UT 84020. She will be laid to rest at Memorial Lakeview Mortuary & Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, UT 84010.
