Juanita Jaramillo

March 28, 1957 — September 23, 2020

Juanita Jaramillo March 28, 1957 – September 23, 2020  – Our beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away while being held by her two sons on September 23rd, 2020.  Juanita was born on a cold spring evening in Vernal, Utah to Jose’ Benjamin Jaramillo and Gloria Anne Peck Jaramillo.
Juanita worked at Merit Medial as a Lead Supervisor and had a deep passion for her job and took pride in her work ethic.  She never took time off work and had a very special place in her heart for the many friends and co-workers she had, especially those working on her line.
Juanita was an avid gardener.  She had a green thumb and enjoyed growing vegetables in her back yard to share with her friends and family.
Juanita’s true joy in her life were her two sons, David and James.  There wasn’t a time when we were together that she wouldn’t talk about one of her boys when they were little and memories she had of them growing up.  She was so proud of who her boys had become and all they had accomplished in life.
Juanita has 6 beautiful grandkids that she adored.  She loved buying them fun gifts and always found the most unique toys.  Grandma always made Christmas morning so much fun and couldn’t wait to spoil her grandkids with all their gifts (which were never wrapped).  She would walk in the door and hand them their gifts in the doorway and wanted them opened immediately because she couldn’t wait to see their excitement.
Juanita had three sugar glider pets that she loved to spoil.  They had the biggest cage, they best of food and too many toys and pouches to count.  She would be happy to know that they now have a special place in our home.
As our hearts are broken by the loss of our loved one, we are comforted by knowing she is now in the arms of her father who she loved and looked up to more than anyone she knew.
Juanita is survived by her caring sons and their wives, David (Kari) Jaramillo, and James (Melanie) Kendrick of West Jordan Utah;  grandkids, Janessa, Trae, Evan, Callie, Haddie, and Witten; mother, Gloria Peck Jaramillo of Denver, Colorado;  siblings, Kathy (Dude) Dean of Clifton, Colorado – Josephine Jaramillo of Denver, Colorado – Julie Jaramillo of Herriman, Utah – Richard Jaramillo of Denver, Colorado – Doug (Arla) Jaramillo of Eagle Mountain, Utah and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her father, Jose’ Benjamin Jaramillo.
