Jsanu Openshaw

January 21, 1966 — March 22, 2014

We are deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of our beloved Jsanu. She was a devoted daughter, sister and aunt. Jsanu was a beloved soul-mate, and a treasured friend to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
She was born January 21, 1966, in San Jose, California. Jsanu graduated from Jordan High School in 1984. Her caring spirit led her to serve an LDS mission to Calgary, Alberta Canada from July 1987 to January 1989. She received a degree in Social Work from Weber State University in 1997. In 2002 she completed her Masters in Social Work at the University of Utah.
Her career paths were as varied as her interests in life. She was employed in the fields of real estate, mental health, working with the chronically mentally ill and at risk youth. Most recently she was dealing with consumer fraud protection in the online community.
She had a compassionate heart and was always willing to help others. She was enthusiastic about all aspects of life; camping, gardening, socializing with friends, crafts, boating, travel and especially the beach. She was at heart a scholar and voracious reader, immersing herself in history and research for all of her vast interests.
She is survived by the love of her life, Brad Argentos, her mother, Shirley Openshaw, her sister Sherry, (Howard) Taylor, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by father R. Creed Openshaw, and godchild Grayson Eyring.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 2p.m. at Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah. To share your memories of Jsanu please go to www.murraymemorial.com.
