Joylynn Ribe

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away at home. She was born in Salt Lake City to Joyce Castro and Victor Tapia. JoyLynn married Mike Ribe on August 14, 1982.
JoyLynn considered her 11 grandchildren as her greatest accomplishment. She was the soul center of her family. She loved her DAS family, and spending time with her girls and grandkids. A fun day for her was dinner and shopping. She enjoyed working in the garden. She loved Bingo Bash and Facebook. Each month, she looked forward to having lunch with her 2 best friends, Robin and Peggy.
Survived by her husband of 31 years; daughters, Melanie Dunyon, Elizabeth Tapia, Samantha Ribe Otuafi, Christina Ribe (David Etherington); 11 grandkids; her mother and father; siblings, Bernice, Maria, Vicky, Todd, Terry, Luke and many extended family. Preceded in death by her brother, Victor Dean; sister, Lucy; grandma, Lillis Talbot and grandpa, Jesse Talbot.
Private services were held by the family under direction of Redwood Memorial Mortuary. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, January 4th. For more information, please call the family or the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted by the family.
