Joyce Mae Hewitt

Joyce passed peacefully at home on May 26, 2024.

Joyce and her husband Jim were married for 64 years before his passing in 2018. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother to her 5 children. She worked at Varian, now Varex from 1986 - 2003, when she retired. She enjoyed boating, riding 4 wheelers, ceramics, crafts, traveling and penny slot machines. Joyce loved a clean house, her hair perfectly in place and did not like it when her son Kevin touched it. She loved music and dancing, especially to CCR’s, Proud Mary. She was an active member of the LDS Church and was recently sealed to her husband.

She is survived by her brother Brent Peck, her 5 children: Jim (Debbie), Janice (Randy) Hansen, Carol (Todd) Peck, Kevin (Jeannie), David (Kristine). 13 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

She is Preceded in death by her parents, husband and 3 brothers.

Funeral Service will be June 6, 2024 from 6-8 pm, Redwood Memorial. Graveside June 11, 2024 at 11: 00 am, Redwood Memorial.
